What It Takes To Race on Asphalt with a Snowmobile!

• One Snowmobile
• One pair of asphalt skis
• One asphalt track
• Idler wheel kits inbetween the slide rails (as required)
• A working thether switch
• A full-face helmet with a Snell rating
• Leathers (upper), Full leathers if faster then 120mph
• Leather boots/shoes above the ankle and leather gloves
• Cooling system quick connect fittings
• Cool down cooler, (this is a system that circulates water through your cooling system. Usually a large cooler filled with ice water that uses a 12 volt bilge pump to flow cold water through the cooling system).

There are two types of tracks, 15" wide and 10 5/8" wide. Everyone one runs the skinnier one because of less rotating weight. Parts can be purchased used online found in some forums or classified adds. New parts are available online from many performance shops.

 Chain case sprocket ratio will require to be changed. Main jet and posibly pilot jet changes will be needed to run in the warmer temps. Clutch tuning will be constant when trying to achieve a better E.T.
