Racine Extreme Newsletter

October 2005 V1-issue 3

Hello Racine Extreme Friends and Fans,

For those of you receiving our newsletter for the first time, welcome to the Midwest's Headquarters for Extreme Power Sports Action! In our news letters you will find information on upcoming events, past event coverage, new user features, links to areas of interest, progress of Racine Extreme and more.

To start things out for October I would like to welcome the Hiawatha Motor Inn to Racine Extreme. This recently renovated, year round resort is located on Duck Lake, 2 miles north of Eagle River. The Hiawatha has something to offer year round from fishing and waterskiing in the summer to snowmobiling in the winter. For those of you that are familiar with Racine Extreme you know that we have been in the process of filming for an extreme power sports documentary focused on the Midwest. The Hiawatha will become one of our home bases for filming the snowmobile footage in the production of "Racine Extreme's Most Extreme Take One". Check out their website at www.hiawathamotorinn.com to learn more about this beautiful Northwood's resort.

CONTEST ANNOUNCEMENT- The Hiawatha Motor Inn of Eagle River, WI is offering a free nights stay to the first 2 people that can guess the day they will receive the first 1 inch of measurable snow for the 2005-2006 season. For contest rules and to enter your guess click on ""

Racine Extreme has added several new features over the month of September. Lets start with the addition of our own certified snowmobile and auto tech. to our forums. You can use this area to ask Maize583 (The creator of Mountain Madness) questions and advice and he will reply with a researched and educated answer. We have added a classified section for used machines and miscellaneous items under all our main forum titles. Racine Extreme has added the "Extreme Machine of the Month" feature at the top of our home page where we will be choosing one boat and one snowmobile each month for our featured extreme machines. We have recently worked with several producers and will be adding "Racine Extreme's one Stop Extreme Video Shop" where you will be able to purchase extreme videos from all aspects of power sports.

September brought us to the end of the Blarney Island "Thunder on the Chain" drag boat season. The 2005 season ran a full 16 weeks without any cancellations due to wind or rain. To view full coverage of the 16 week season click on "Thunder on the Chain".  On September 23rd and 24th Racine Extreme attended the "Smokin in the Cove" drag boat races held on Lake Catherine near Jones Mill, Arkansas. This event draws some of the fastest boats on water from all over the United States. To see photos and coverage from the race click on "Smokin in the Cove". R.E. also attended Haydays one of the biggest snowmobile grass drag races and swap meets in the United States. This event marks the beginning of a season for several snowmobile enthusiasts through out the Midwest. Racine Extreme captured a ton of the freestyle show at Haydays including snowmobiles, motorcycles and ATV's. We are currently in the process of editing the photos and video from the event and will have the coverage up soon.

Racine Extreme has been welcomed to and will be covering several events in the up coming month of October. Some of the event coverage will include video and photos from the snowmobile watercross event in McHenry, IL on October 1st and 2nd. On October 2nd Racine Extreme is set to continue filming and taking photos for the offshore section of our website and movie production. We will be covering several different snowmobile grass drag races in the month of October and will be at the Milwaukee Snow Show. If you are attending any of these events please look us up and say hello.
