Week 13 Brings us to the fourth race before the end of the season. The race action continues to heat up as the racers battle for the year end titles in there respective classes. If you have ever considered going to Blarney Island the next three weeks will produce some of the best race action of the year.

Lake Racer Outboard

Week 13 started of with Bob Albee and Jeff Houghtaling coming to the line, with Albee taking the checkered flag. Race 2 matched up Nick Winski with Jon Mumford, Winski took the win sending Mumford back to the dock. Vanderwall came to the line to challenge Werth in round 3. Vanderwall having a mechanical problem from the start gave Werth the easy win for race 3. Albee paired up with Winski in race 4 with Albee taking the win and advancing to the finals. The final race in Lake Racer Outboard brought a common battle to the race course between Bob Albee and Kris Werth with Albee taking the win for week 13.

Lake Racer Inboard

John Groth and Keith Matjka matched up for race 1 to start out the Lake Racer Inboard Class. Matjka took the round 1 win and headed to the final against Joel Silverstein. Silverstein took the checkers first and secured the points for week 13.

Pro Gas

Week 13 in the Pro Gas class brought a Blarney Veteran, from the years previous out of hibernation. Ron Barta our racer from the years previous paired up with Tom Klement for race 1. Barta looking good for his first time at Blarney this year takes the round 1 win against Klement. Race 2 paired up Nick Winski with Nick Kaye. Kaye laying down a beautiful runm, takes round 2. The final race in Pro Gas brought Klement and Kaye to the line. Kaye laying down another beautiful run takes home the checkers for week 13.

Single Carb

Silverstein and Groth came to the line to start out the races in the Single Carb class. Silverstein took the round one win sending him to the final against Gary Frankowski. It was a close race in the final with Frankowski edging out the win.

Multi Carb

George Pataki and Gary Frankowski came to the line to start the Multi Carb Class. Frankowski took the win and headed to the final against Peter Selvey. Frankowski having another close race edges out the win in Multi Carb. to finish out his day.

Open Class

Dave Saldecki came out to race Peter Selvey to start out the open class. Selvey barely squeaking out the win advances to the final against Donny Little. Donny Little one of the most consistent racers at the race course shows his consistency once again with the win.

Unlimited

Brian Benson and Donny Little a couple of the fastest guys in the Midwest matched up for the final race of the day. Once again Littleshowing what he's got  takes the checkers and the win for the last race of he day.
